What a day!!!

Well guys had pre-testing done today for surgery on May 30th that went well ,except my bp was little high.Spend most of my day in traffic 3hrs going and 4hrs coming back.I don't mind coming in the city but traffic was horrible.It's fleet week saw all the naval ship and navy planes flying in formation.To top it all had a dentist appt in the afternoon.What a day couldn't wait to get home. I'm really not ready for tuesday surgery but I gotta due what I have to do.I'm in the hospital for two day so thats not bad.I'm going to be at Victory Memorial Hosp. never been there before I hope they are ok. Hi Claire. I am a city girl and i know what you mean about traffic and such. I walk when i can or use the subway! Why are you having surgery? I want to wish you well with whatever it is going on. LisaMarie

Dear LisaMarie Had my overdue 1 year appt,found out I have a hernia and needs repair.I was preparing myself to have surgery in Dec. to repair my umbicial hernia which is small and my tummy tuck.This would give me enough time to accrew enough sick and vacation time to be out .So back I go again to surgery,thinking very hard I'm going to change my position to clinic nurse instead of icu nurse.(no pulling or pushing equipment or pts around). Sorry I answer late I work in the city 12hr shift When I get home I'm exhausted. See Ya Girl Smooches Claire

Claire, Unlike LisaMarie I HATE the city... I am a country girl at heart but really do like to visit NYC at times. I hate to sit in traffic, I think the worse part is all the people that are just so rude and nasty. Glad you had your pre-testing done and you are under way....YEAH..... Hi Debra I Love going in the city when traffic is smooth.I just zip in the city and zip out, so then I can enjoy the rest of the country life.I been up here for almost 10years and love it here I don't miss the city at all.
