I am 4 weeks post op and have been dizzy for a few weeks now. I have also had some other symptoms which make me think I might be anemic. I am seeing my medical nutritionist next week and will ask her to draw labs to determine what's up. Are you having any other symptoms? Amy

Hey Jennifer! Sorry to hear you aren't feeling so well. Being dizzy can be a million things but the most obvious one is being dehydrated. If your head spins when you are lying down and then get up and/or sitting down and then getting up, it's probably your blood pressure dropping very fast and sudden(which would cause you to feel dizzy) which is b/c of dehydration. But if you are kind of dizzy alot then it could be a definciency in something that will just need some labs drawn to see what is going on! Ask you doctor of course! Good luck and feel better! Hey Tavia Thanks for the ideas I would have to go on the dehydration theory.....I drank a lot today and all together was not to bad. Plus I'm sure this cold doesn't help things. I go in two weeks for follow up appt. and blood work so the rest will be checked on then. Have you gotten any results back from your toast test yet? What can they do for you? Thanks so much Jennifer

I'm 7 months post op and I still get dizzy when I bend over or sometimes when I stand up, also if I take a hot shower! But my blood pressure is also really low (compared to the normal it used to be). I get my labs done regularly and everything is good though, so I guess some of us will just have to be dizzy from here on! I'm down 110 lbs since my surgery, so I'll deal with it! It gets better! Hang in there! HUGS, Violet
