Home from Hospital- thank you all!

Hi everyone, First I want to thank everyone for all of their good wishes and thoughts of me. That was so incredibly thoughtful and supportive, and I am extremely grateful to all of you. I came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon and after finally getting a good night's sleep in my own bed, I feel great today. My surgery was uncomplicated and Dr. Gellman was wonderful, as was his partner and the residents . I can't say enough wonderful things about the nurses and support staff at North Shore. They took great care of me. I've been taking my protein shakes and supplements and drinking my fluids every hour, so I'm doing ok with that. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks again! Ida

Ida, I sent you an email! Glad you are home and doing ok. Keep in the protein shakes and fluids, which is the most important thing! Trust me, we all know how hard it is you but you can do it! You will be fabulous before you know it! I love the surgeons very much, they are good people. When everything is said and done w/me, I am going to have a party in honor of them called the "Dr two G's whopeee party". (and of course you are invited) Ha. Of course I will have a party for myself. Hee-Hee. More parties the merrier right? Lord have mercy, the hospital and poopy heads in training are another story in itelf with me. Take care of yourself and get your rest!! xoxo Tavia
