VACATION!!
Hi Folks,
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing great. Been incredibly busy, lots of stuff going on. I'm down 108 pounds and am so happy! I've gotten too small for most of the stuff in my closet - all of which was outdated anyway - and I have had to buy new clothes. I'm down so many sizes, it's absolutely amazing. I'm feeling great and doing so many things I haven't been able to do in recent years.
Since things have been so buys for me for the last 6 months or so, I've decided to treat myself and my brother to a nice restful vacation. We are going down to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to see our other brother. We leave on Wednesday and I can't wait! Unfortunately, Mel (my DH) is not coming, he's going to stay home and take care of our house and pets. The trip should be great fun, although the wrong time of year for me to be going to Florida, but I'll get over it! I haven't seen my brother since about 3 weeks after surgery. I can't wait to see his reaction!
While I'm there, I'm going to check out the Bariatric Eating store. It's only a couple of miles from my brother's place. I'm hoping to check out a few things and see if I like any of their products. I'll let you know if I find anything I like. I know a lot of people here use Achieve one, so that's one of the things I hope to try. Does anyone have any other favorite products from there?
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Hugs - Robin
Hi Robin,
I hope you have a great time. I can't get enough of Florida.
I saw you have a ****atiel. I used to raise them when I lived in CA. I want one so bad, but we always have a hard getting people to care for our animals when we go away, plus I wish the kids were more helpful with them on a daily basis. I love to see them when I go to the petstore.
I don't do a lot of online ordering so I don't know anything about BE, but wanted to wish you a good trip! Congrats on your weight loss too!

Hi Kristine,
Yeah, George is a pretty cool bird. He does a lot of mimicking. He imitates just about any sound he hears and e is te funniest when he hears animals on the TV. He starts dancing and flying around and screaching at whatever he hears. If it happens to be other birds, he calms down and ****s his head to listen and then he mimics them, I guess he's calling out to his flock - maybe he's asking them to come and save him or something! We enjoy all of our critters - the flying kind (George), the four legged kind and the swimming kind!

Hi Amy,
Thanks - I wish I was flying out tomorrow! I need a break and am really looking forward to this trip. I can't wait to get on the plane and see if I can use the standard seatbelt without the extender! I can finally fit in a booth at the diner and my regular seatbelt is finally comfortable, so maybe I won't have to ask for the extender on the airline! I hope so.
I do have a new picture, I just have to figure out how to add it!

Fagel is watching me type right now. He is noisy, messy and I love him very much. He is our son and my daughter's brother. Our cat passed away last year. BJ and Fagel were best buddies. Fagel would fly on his back and BJ actually liked it! I'm sure he must his him. I know I do. Does George talk? Fagel greets me every morning by saying "HI BIRD". He eats every meal with us and especially likes chicken and spaghetti. Very odd bird! He loves watching TV and we have to leave a radio on for him when we go out.
