Hi Kenny, Venting is always good. It was great meeting you last night, sorry you feel out of place at the meeting. This is the second one I went to and I'm really liking it, but everyone has their own feelings and they are as valid as the next persons. The rain WILL go away, eventually. And you'll be able to get on that beautiful bike of yours and take in the lovely views, just like everything else in our lives - you must have PATIENCE! Glad you got rid fo the bad stuff in the house - or at least in your immediate grasp. It's a good start and the was the right move - you have been working too hard and doing too well to blow it all on a couple of chocolates! Wish I could help with advice on the home situation, but only you and the Mrs. can really work on that, but, if you ever want to just talk, vent in private, you can email me and get it all out until you feel better - we all need someone to lean on sometimes. I hope the rain clears soon and you get to enjoy better weather. Hugs - Robin

Hi Kenny, It will get better! The sun will shine! My revenge against the "blues", regardless of what they are, is to live well. It isn't always easy but it does stop me from eating carbs. In my support group this past Saturday, I learned about a "Nourishment Journal". The idea is that when you are feeling good, write everything in this journal that makes you feel good ... a phone call to a special person, wearing a favorite pair of jeans, riding a bike, walking on a beach, reading a book, having a good cup of coffee, whatever. Then when you are feeling "blue", you read the journal and it reminds you of good things to do. It's suppose to be a tool for comfort instead of reaching for food. I haven't written a journal yet but wished I did before I got the aggrivating phone call from my boss this morning. Oh well ... I will do it today. Smile! Pearl
