Update on Kitty

Hi Everyone, Just got back from visiting Kitty in the hospital. She's in the ICU, a routine move for her surgeon and is now day 2 post op....when the anesthesia starts to wear off, and the discomfort starts to makes its presence known. At my visit, she was feeling a lot of pain which was not aleviated by the IV Tordol she got. Her nurse seemed responsive and amenable to helping her, so hopefully she'll get it under control this evening. Her blood pressure and pulse were running a bit high (pain, stress?) and she felt a little warm to me. She was feeling a bit overwhelmed but was talkative for a while. Poor honey. Let's all send a big whopping wish of fast healing to Kitty who can take some good vibes now!! Amy

man she needs something stronger than Tordol that is for sure!! Poor thing. I hope she feels better soon! I will keep her in my thoughts. Did she have a temp?

Hi Amy I feel so sorry that Kitty is not doing that great.Hope she feel much better soon.I think Toradol is going to ease the pain,she needs something a little stronger like Morphine.Toradol tense to increase blood pressure and it mostly use for muscle and bone pain.Anyway hoping they change her pain meds soon so her recovery can be speedy.
