went for appointment...

Hey everyone... I went to the surgeons last monday and found that I've only lost 1 lb... sigh.. but at least I didn't gain any. That is a plus. I had to wait 4 whole LONG hours before the surgeon was ready to see patients. When he finally came in, we talked and he said I'm doing a good job and to keep it up. I asked him if he thought it was possible to have the surgery in Sept. or Oct. and he said it is very do-able. So that is exciting news. I'm almost there!! I'm ready to be a loser!! I have a very very difficult time with my eating. I'm really trying to eat the right things but it is so hard. He does not expect me to lose alot of weight, but he does want to see me lose and little at a time and keep losing, not gaining. I must be doing something good cause I did lose 1 whole pound. It isn't much I know but I feel good that I haven't gained anything. I wish I was losing more. I will keep pluggin along. I just can't wait to be a loser. debby

Debby, Congrats on the good news about having your surgery soon AND the lose of weight.....Hey 1 lbs is good hun, trust me.....AND the fact that you did not gain is just awesome and a step in the right direction...
