YESTERDAY...WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY I HAD!!!!!!!!
I took a day off yesterday to take advantage of the great weather! With the rain this last month I thought I'd never get out on my bike! 
Well I started north and drove along the Shawangunk mountains along 44/55 up to and past the Mohonk, then through New Paltz to 9w south. At this point I was on a roll so I went over the mid Hudson Bridge and took 9 north through, Hyde Park, Rhiencliff and then through Red Hook! My toosh was getting tired so I started to head back and stopped at the Hyde Park Diner for lunch. Kind of strange eatting alone but who cares I was riding my bike (living my life long dream)! Once the ole bottom was ready to go I headed south back over the bridge to 9w south and stopped at Century Cycle to do some window shopping! Finally got home after 130 mile ride and it was great! Next I went to the gym then ended the day watching my son hit the crap out of the ball at his travel baseball game!
Yes it was a GREAT DAY!!

There is nothing like a good ride to clear the head and relax some.....that is therapy within its self for sure!

Ahhh yes I know those routes well...nothing like looking at the Shawangunks, I get a good view of them a lot as I head north.
Doesn't riding feel so freeing? I can feel your freedom because for me, driving the car can be freeing. This weekend I got an adapter for my mp3 player so we can hear the music in the car which has a dinosaur cassette deck only(hate CDs anyway). Now I am not a speeder by any means 
but I felt a little looney and had to watch my speed, but I felt very free, the nice weather helps.
WTG to your son on kickin' butt in the game too!
