My Scale Does Not Like Me!
For almost 6 weeks now I'm stuck in the 230 zone.
Of course I know the reason its that night time snacking! For a few months I was doing quite well with the weight loss as I am down a total of 54 lbs, but I still need to drop another 30-40 to goal. I will beat this thing!
Today I start jogging to change up my cardio routine!

Kenny,
I am curious of something because of something I read once, and it sounds nutty and what I remember is very vague.
How is Dr Kwon with his fill schedules? I don't remember if it was on here or another list that I read something to the effect that he is not big on adjusting the band. I'm thinking at the time, that might have been a reason I had shyed away from him besides the fact I went with the first surgeon I heard about.
I'm curious to hear the fill schedules of any lapbanders on here. My surgeon was seeing me once a month at first, but now every six weeks, though I cancelled this last one, because I'm still tight. I'm scheduled for July 18 and with me shrinking the belt I may need tightened then. I went one other time that I knew I didn't need a fill, I guess just to check in with her. I guess since we're hitting six months, I don't feel as much of a need to check in.
A lot of bandsters on my lists especially the self-pay ones only go to get fills a few times a year, because they fly back to Mexico. I don't think I'd do well that way. But then others go to fillcenters usa or will find Dr's in the US that will fill them.

Yep...hubby was doing so well, and his mother took him out to lunch at Panera bread because she won a gift card from there. He gained two pounds. I told him it's probably because he's cut the carbs all this time then boom, a lunch at a bakery
that will do it...
You all will get over this hump!!!!

Hi Kenny,
This may not be much of a help but a glass of 1% or skim milk (chocolate carb control) is a very good appetite suppressant. Drinking water, sugar free popsicles and ice tea with splenda helps me through the evening hours. (Sometimes 3-4 popsicles!!!)
How about a protein drink as your evening snack?
...hope these help you.
