Ok so I am a Part time working mom

I gave it a week and i did not like the feeling of leaving the kids all week. I spoke to my bosses and they allowed me to work 2 days a week with the option of a 3rd day if needed. I am very happy now. This i can deal with. Being home more with the kids and still working. Thanks for listening..... LisaMarie

awesome I work at Binghamton U I GET DEC 15 TILL END OF JAN OFF THEN MAY TILL END OF AUG OFF plus the other wee holidays..plus the company i work for carries my insurance mvp! i love my job and collect unemployment with the time im off,,and my boss she is the best! That sounds like such a great option for you. I'm happy for you that your employer is on board with that type of a schedule. I bet you and the kids are elated about this.

That is great!! I too work PT and I find it the best balance between getting out of the house and still being there for the kids, it's especially good when they are in school and I don't want to miss any functions! Also, I have a 13 year old, and I like being home when she gets home so she doesn't mess with any mischief! LOL!
