HEY ALL JUST CHECKING IN

just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing , we are holding up pretty good here in binghamton ,we finally got to leave our house on sat because of the flooding ,,,,we only got a little water in front of our house and all down through conklin were we live.. i just wish we had gotten the rest of our stuff from our inlaws house from moving.. im so upset my inlaws lost everything we still had our big freezer at there house and hubby had all his tools and everything from his shed,my poor inlaws lost all there stuff and i mean everything ... we did save a few things but no house hold or anything i feel so sorry for them they have lived in this house for over 37 years and have never had any water in there yard ever and now they had water up to the top of there windows, and now fema isnt helping any of the people that had flooding in there homes that sucks we send all this money from ny to help everybody else around the world and now that binghamton and all around ny needs help nothing ,my sisternalw has a 6 month old and lost all her stuff i think the government in meaning fema stinks sorry for the vent i just needed to get it off my chest thanks for listening to the *****ing hugs lisa

Lisa, Glad to hear that you are ok. Sad that your family has lost so much. I am in Syracuse, so I know how hard you were hit. Keep your chin up. Things have to get better from here. Molly

hi molly thanks for thinking about us yes everybody is ok its just hard going through all of the stuff and crying over all that is lost but like i keep telling my momnlaw at least everyone is still here hugs lisa

Hi Lisa, I am sorry to read such terrible news but glad everyone is pretty ok. Its terrible when people are suffering in this country while this government is too preoccupied with running...pardon me, "helping" other countries. Right. One of my husbands best friend works for the state department as a diplomat in saudi arabia (he is in wash. d.c right now though) and let me tell you, he tells stories. It's terrible. I cant image having such a young child and losing all the babies stuff. That must be so hard to deal with. I will send good thoughts your way!! ((((HUGS))) xoxo

hi tavia, yes it is hard its almost as bad as having a fire they lost all there pictures the babys crib playpen i just bought and toys cloths everything i have gone out and got her some new close but i cant afford a whole lot hubby had just bought a new truck and it was lost also we didnt have insurance on it cause it needed brakes and a few little things oh well we will just have to save again . we are triing to help them get into a new house or apt because there house was condemed there were a lot of houses like theres that they condemed we asked if we could fix it and they say no once condemed it has to be torn down but who can afford to rebuild after loosing everything ? and they were just renting this house! thanks for the thoughts and thanks for the reply its been hard getting on we have been with out a phone or cable more than we have had it so when its on i get on ok off to work thanks again hugs lisa
