Oh my gosh, thats horrible, but makes a great story that is for sure!! I cant image, you waking up thinking you had gastric bypass surgery and being like "what happened" and nothing happened. AAHHHH!

Hi Barbara, Sorry to hear of this but they are just being careful! I was suppose to have my surgery In Jan. 2005 but the morning of my surgery, my WBC was too high and the surgeon wouldnt operate on me. I too was all ready to be wheeled in the the OR and the nurses where like "STOP!! The surgeon wants to talk to you!" I was so upset. Oh well. It was still high for a couple of weeks afterwards, no one could figure out way and then it just went away! Who knows! Good luck with figure out what is going on but I am sure you are fine. Everything happens for a reason.
