I need answers a.s.a.p.

I go to Albany tomorrow for pre op testing!!!!! Is there any special questions I should ask? Anything I should be prepared for???? What do they do? I also meet with the Anesth. while I am up there...OK Thanks everyone.....to the group in Fishkill....see you Sunday night!

I went for Pre-Op last week....very easy.....they do blood work, EKG and a chest x-ray.....Mine took about 1 hour.....good luck! ~Nicole

No need to panic Fran! The pre-op testing is pretty easy. Pee in a cup, couple vials of blood, chest xray and ekg and i think that was it. I spoke with a nurse to get a baseline blood pressure and temperature and then i got to talk with my surgeon. I met with the anathesia guy the day of the surgery which was just fine with me. PRE OP testing is a piece of cake. JUSt do what your supposed to and always answer all questions honestly! HUGS and good luck!
