Fishkill Support Group Meeting Sunday (REMINDER)!

The Fishkill Support Group will be meeting Sunday at 6pm (till 7:30 pm) at Fishkill All Sport, off of Route 9 (845-896-5678 or www.fishkillallsport.com for directions). This group is being run by a wonderful professional counselor, my friend Lisa, who had WLS surgery in December and ran a 26 mile marathon on June 11!! Lisa (http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/profile.php?N=M1125346733) is amazing and this group is everything I could have hoped for, I'm so glad she picked me to do it with her because it is definitely what we needed -- a group for the REAL emotional support that we need! I ended up not making it either! Got an invitation to go sailing (at Newburgh Landing) at the last minute that I couldn't pass up! I called Lisa at 4:30 to tell her and she forgave me! It was for a good cause! I've never been sailing before yesterday and that was something I wouldn't have done 100 lbs ago! It was wonderful! I'm so grateful to this surgery for the way it has changed my life. It's been a dream come true for me! Enjoy the keys!!

Good for you! What kind of boat was it? They have awesome sailing in the keys I hear! I'm looking forward to trying some scuba diving for my first time! Good luck KB
