REMINDER! Fishkill Support Group

The Fishkill Support Group will be meeting Sunday at 6pm (till 7:30 pm) at Fishkill All Sport, off of Route 9. There is NO COST to attend, by the way! (845-896-5678 -- or www.fishkillallsport.com for directions). This group is being run by a wonderful professional counselor, my friend Lisa, who had WLS surgery in December and ran a 26 mile marathon on June 11!! http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/profile.php?N=M1125346733 This group has been doing fantastic! We're averaging 28-30 members a week now and the feedback has been great! Thank you all who have attended and continue to come and contribute to the success of the group! Hi Violet. Last week was the first time I was able to get to the meeting and I just wanted to say how fantastic it was. I was very surprised by how many people were there - what a great group of people! I know I didn't get to meet you last week so hopefully I'll get there tomorrow and will get to meet you then. Hi Susie! Sorry I missed you last week! It was the first time I missed a meeting and it was a spur of the moment thing. I got an offer to go sailing that I couldn't pass up! This surgery has been such a wonderful miracle in my life and opened up so many doors that weren't available in the past, so when those doors open now, I JUMP RIGHT IN!! I'm hoping to meet you this week though. I will definitely be there! Thank you for all your kind words. Lisa and I enjoy doing the group.
