Hi Maryellen
It will probably be about 2 hours or maybe even a little more.
The time will go very quickly for you though. They wll keep you busy with things like changing into a gown, taking you vital signs, etc. They had me sign consent forms even though I did it in my doctor's office before the surgery day. The anesthesiologist came to see me and also my surgeon before I was taken to the operating room. Don't worry the time will go very quicklly.
Good luck! I hope everything goes perfectly for you!
You'll soon be on the losing side.
Marcia

Hi MaryEllen...and congrats on getting a date!!!!
I wish you the best of luck! I am new to this WSL Journey (still deciding on a Doctor) so keep us posted on EVERY detail ! (ok well....you can keep the gorey stuff to yourself
)
And I think that being nervous is normal - I get nervous everytime I read someone posting their surgery date...it makes it all so real. But..never forget the Loser Side...it will be worth it!!
Hugsss and best of luck once again!
-Karen
