Endoscopy Monday

Last week I posted about nausea on an empty stomach. I saw the gastroenterologist and my surgeon today. The surgeon initially thought I might have a hernia, but nope that's not it. They both agree that an endoscopy is the best thing to do right now to see if I have the beginnings of an ulcer. So it's Monday morning at 9:30. Joanne

Hi Joanne, Good luck with the g e. Hopefully, it's nothing too serious. I see my g e on the 9th for an initial consult due to an elevated liver enzyme number (ANA) for two blood tests in a row. An ultrasound was negative. Hopefully all he will want is another blood test although it could be a ct scan or a liver biopsy. Just want to get this all over with as I'm sure you do as well. Thank you all for the good thoughts and wishes. Fortunately, whatever was bothering me last week seems to have passed. I'm feeling fine again. I am still going to have the scope done though, but for now everything seems to be back to normal. I'm not taking anything right now. You won't hear me complaining. Thanks again, Joanne

Joanne, Well it is good to have it checked out anyways but so glad to hear that you are feeling better now hun. ~hugs~ It might have been a flu or something or the start of an ulcer so it will good to know for sure. Please keep us posted after your scope on Monday... Debra P

JOANNE being i had a scope on the 21st and an ulcer was found I am glad your getting one done. I think i ignored early signs not realizing it was the ulcer till it was a little worse. GOOD LUCK and keep us posted hugzzzzzzz lisa xoxo
