ENDOSCOPY IS DONE....

and yes I have a small ulcer. He put me on Prilosec OTC and gave a prescription for Carafate and he wants to see me in two weeks. I feel ok this afternoon except that I'm a little gassy and I have headache. Tried to sleep a little, but that just isn't happening for some reason. Thanks for all the support. Joanne, Sorry about the ulcer... Thank goodness for the tummy meds available! Hopefully it will heal it up quickly and your problems will be resolved... I hope you can get a nap in! There is nothing worse than having your butt drag and not be able to doze! Hugs! Lori

WOW glad you got your answers. I wished i had got aggressive when i had the pain in my side that went away when i ate. BUT being i had it from early out i thought this was a normal way to feel after the WLS. I too in july was diagnosed with a small ucler and im on NEXIUM but i imagine because mine bled and thats what made them do the scope on me. HUGS and keep us updated.
