TGIF All, ~hugs~ YEAH through another week I know we will be working once again on the house but coming to an end soon. Well the major stuff anyways, they say you are never REALLY done when ya own a house and I can see why now. Todays is day 4 of my diet and yesterday was by far the roughest day but I made it through and today I feel pretty good, now it is just dealing with the mental carb monster! What I had yesterday: B: 4 oz cottage cheese After 1 hr from eating I had my Archive One protein drink S: 1 string cheese, 1 1/2 tbs natural PB L: 3 oz steamed shrimp S: 4 oz carb control yogurt D: 3 oz pork chop, 1 oz cheese S: 1/2 scoop Zero Carb Isopure Cookies N Cream protein powder with 4 oz carb control milk, 1 tbs Banana s/f Devinci syrup. (made in magic bullet with about 5 ice cubes and wow it was like a Frosty) Water: 80 oz water, 12 oz Diet Siera Mist Sups: 2000 mg of Calcium Citrate 2 Centrum chewables 1000 mg B12 Twinlab sublingal tabs Exercise: N/A OK lost another Lbs today so that makes it 4.5 lbs lost and this is day 4 so it is moving along. I am now at 157.5, seeing new numbers makes me smile but just wondering how much you will lose on this plan and when I add back some carb what will happen. I guess I need to just take one day at a time huh. I am always over thinking things! Well I hope you all have a great weekend Debra P

One day at a time, patience... all words we don't like, but I guess have to live by! It souds like you're doing great. I had another bad day yesterday, but it was because I tried to take my antidepressants. Every time I try to take them, I'm sick all day (whether they're whole or crushed). I guess my new tummy just can't take it, but I need them, so I'll be calling my doc to see what he recommends. Yesterday looked like this: B- 1 piece low cal toast with butter L- chinese food... maybe 3/4 cup of chicken with veggies S- about 3 oz. steak, 1/2 apple with peanut butter water- about 60 oz I'm plateued again. I feel like the queen of plateaus... it's like every 2 weeks I get stuck for a week or 2! Frustrating!!! Anyway, have a great day, and don't work too hard this weekend!!! Traci

Traci, Yes your body does plateau hun but when it does early on you are losing inches, did you measure yourself? If you do then you will see that the inches come off then the scale moves and then back to the inches. So you really are still losing but the body needs time to catch up to the scale. You will really see it if you measure once a month! Thanks for posting hun Debra P

Good morning Traci-I noticed your post re getting stuck every two weeks and wanted to let you know your not alone-I had my surgery in Jan of this year and for the last several months I will lose for 2 weeks and then for the next two weeks NOTHING and then the next two I am down on the scale and then 2 more weeks nothing-I have concluded its the way my body is working and I try not to stress over it anymore-I know its very frustrating though to see nothing on the scale when you are doing everything right-but remember they have said your body can be losing inches when its not losing weight on the scale : ) Good luck and stay positive! Well just so you know I gained 2 pounds according to my scale 215 to 217 but who knows it could be water. I just got home from my 6 month mam-o-gram and ultra sound. Lets pray all is ok. I know what u mean about the house. We cant get caught up and still want to do sooooooo much. My dad came over yesterday and hung a mirror and my medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Its all about time and $$$$ which I have little of both at this time well I ate good today b- 1 package weigh****hchers oatmeal l-4 turkey slices with gravy and salad thats its so far AND ALL MY VITAMINS well have a great day and know that I love u xoxoxoxoxoxox roni

Roni, Hey you.....so it felt good to get out and walk at lunch... I like going by myself so I can think and text... Yeah we are women and we gain and lose a few pounds so easily....up and down Are you using Fitday.com to track your meals and totals? You should start doing that because it really helps! Hey Deb your doing great.....you keep fingthing those carb demons I know I have days I struggle doing that too..... let see.... B-toasted everything bagel with butter... s- pretzels stixx.....cheese stick.......and hot fries ( pototes chips) L- chix parm with ziti d Potoes kinish with mustard and half a pb&j sandwich well I'll do better today I hope... Christine, OMG it has been a crazy struggle but now I know I can go back and start over with that diet so it should be ok. If I wanted to maintain then I am all set but I still have more to go.. Well how are things hun? send me an email.... Debra P

Hi christine. I was just wondering how you can eat all those carbs and not get sick.Is it because you are farther out them me?? Im in June of this year. I dont want to like the carbs again im afraid of them. Do you gain any from that or stay the same.. Have a great weekend. Lol veronica
