Time To Introduce Myself

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome--I've been reading all your posts so I feel like I know everyone already.

HEY all the best... i had EMPIRE and had no problems with approval so im sure your gonna be just fine. ALL the best this is such an exciting time for you. I attend the support meetings when i can at stacy's house and there great! TO hang and talk to others that can relate..... all the best and look forward to getting to know you thru your posts.

Hi Debbie!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm also one of Dr Garber's patients, and wanted to wish you the best of luck. You are in such good hands with him and Dr Holover..I am 13mos post op and -130lbs..and although Im not at goal yet- I will be- but they are such a great staff and when he says you will be in good hands, right through recovery- you will be!! The hospital staff will take great care as well. You have soo much to look forward to. You waited all this time- so 3weeks is a piece of cake, right? Cheers! Donna

Thanks Donna Im getting such a show of support from this website. Now Im nervously awaiting approval--it's a week today since I saw the Dr. for my final consult--and Im not even sure how I know that Ive been approved. I left a message at the office yesterday but didn't hear back. Debbie
