It me Britt :)

Hi all - My first post - post op I am doing ok here is the scoop day of surgery they couldn't get the picc line in after 3 tries - they did a regular IV out of surgery felt gross, in pain and nauseas - the next day i felt GREAt!!! THE NEXT DAY was horrible! They took me off the pain pump the evening before and tried to crush the percoset - it made me feel nauseaes - they tried another drug ...again then they switched me to a liquid med. I haven't had to take it yet - i just have bad gas pains I am walking , sipping and taking gas x i am getting all my stuff in (but its work!!!!) I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE GAS TO GO AWAY AND THE drains to come out. thanks for all your thoughts and prayers Karen I (my angel) told me all of your messages! hugs, Britt

Britt, YEAH I am soooo glad to see your pretty face posting again hun. Dosnt it feel good to call yourself a post-op ....the gas and discomfort will go away and before you know it you will feel like a million bucks

thanks for all of the replies, It is great to hear from those who have been there. Each day gets better - I JUST can't wait fiur the gas to go!!!! how long did it last for you all?
