It me Britt :)

Britt, Well for me it was like the first 2 weeks.....then after that it was not that bad at all and then all of the sudden it was gone. I know for me that was the worse! Not only the pains but the whole bloating feeling was bad but once you get past this it will just be a thought. Also once you get your drains out it will make you feel SOOO much better! You have no idea!!! Call me if you are feeling up to it hun Debra P

Congrats on making it to the other side! Yes drains/plugs are very annoying, I would know. Soon enough they will come out...just hold your breath for the JP(right side) one, that one is the most annoying when its pulled. Get your rest and feel good!! Take care.

Welcome to the losers' bench, Britt! Yeah, the gas was a major problem for me, but after about a week, it subsided. Didn't have any drains or plugs though. I'm glad you made it home and are doing well otherwise

Hi Britt, Im so glad you finally got the surgery!! Ive been thinking about you so much. Dont worry the gas will pass! I guess i was pretty lucky it wasnt too bad for me. But I did have to go back to the hospital because I had an infection. I am fine now though. Doesnt it seem like so long ago that we had pre-op together? Good luck to you..talk to you soon1 Lorraine

Hey Britt!!! - It's great to hear from you. I heard about your gas; I had said I can't imagine it; but I will soon find out on Monday. My doc told me that they do not do drains; so that's one thing I won't have to worry about. I have stocked up on gasx. I am prepared for the worse of it and the best of it. I would not be this way if I have not found you guys. I thank you all; Britt be well and I will talk when I can; today is the last day of work till Dec 2nd for me, so don't know if I will have my home comp up and running yet. Bye!
