I've got the blues
As I posted before my surgery has been postponed due to my surgeon having surgery himself. I am just feeling like this is never going to happen and my dr.'s office is not at all helpful with giving me any kind of idea as to when I can expect to be rescheduled. I was orginally supposed to have surgery on the 4th of April. I don't want to get so depressed that I start eating everything in sight. Trying to stay positive, but finding it hard to do. Just wanted to get it off my chest. Thanks for listening.
Just hang in there. God has his plan and for one reason or another it just wasnt your time on the 4th. Your day will come and your new life will begin. Just keep thinking positive thoughts, think of how close you are to starting this journey. Think about the fact that you are going to be able to have this surgery just a little later then thought, because there are alot of others who are not able to have this done because of insurance or whatever other reasons. Your time is comming. Just keep that chin up ..and keep us posted.

Hi Noralynn,
I'm sorry for your sidetrack. My surgery was postponed a few days, and I was devastated. It all worked out for the best, and now I'm almost one year post op and over 110 pounds down. Just a little glitch, and in the bigger picture, just an opportunity to learn how to manage emotional eating, which you will still have to do post op if you don't want to gain all of your weight back!
Take deep breaths. Take a walk. Have a nice cold glass of water with a lemon wedge. Treat yourself to a pedicure. This too shall pass!
Hugs,
Amy
Hi Noralynn! CHIN UP BABE! You can do this and not eat emotionally! Think how you want to be in the best condition for your surgery....think how proud you will feel when you weigh the day of your surgery....and you have maintained or even lost! Think how close you are! Do not look bac****ep focused! You CAN do this!!!!!
