What Are ONE of Your Biggest Pet Peeves?

One of my biggest pet peeves (although I have many) has to do with cell phones. Watching people drive and turn corners with one hand because they're holding the other with the *%# cell phone. Usually there are children in the car. There was a time when you used being in the car with the kids to play word games or sing the alphabet or just talk. Well anyway that's my gripe. What's your pet peeve?

My pet peeve is with all the people that work in the public...doctors, insurance, cus. service social services etc. I mean I hate when they make you feel like your bothering them and then get rude...why take a job dealing with the public if you can't deal???? I hate that! Also I hate the makers of those little "peep" marshmellows...I eat so many every year at this time I swear I will end up with a pink ring of sugar around my mouth dead. So to hell with you peep makers you!!!! lol Nicole

My pet peeve is people who are consistantly late! My second would probably be having to sit and wait for an appointment. Why do places double and over book? I can understand 10-15 min but to wait almost an hour is uncalled for. Just my 2 cents. Sally

Man you guys have nailed some of my worst peeves, especially the rude treatment from people in point of service positions. Cell phones are a biggie too. Another are chain e-mails, they bug the crap out of me.

My biggest pet peeve is parents who treat their kids like they don't even like them. I hate seeing how some parents interact with their kids. They take them to a place that is age inappropriate and expect the kid to behave like an adult. I feel so bad for the kids, even if the kids are bratty, because it's the parents' fault they are that way. My sons have even commented to me when we see kids acting up, we were never like that, were we? My other peeve is when people act like they are entitled to something because of their gender, race, financial status or what have you. Some people forget their manners and act like they are better than everyone else. Annoys the hell out of me. Sue

That used to be a pet peeve of mine until i had my own children. There are times you are seeing someone at the end of their rope and you have no idea what kind of day they have had, as a nation i think we are quick to judge! My pet peeve is stupidity, good night nurse some people just can't figure out the simple stuff..that kills me. ANDI

Quick to judge, true, as in judging my answer..... I'm a parent, too, of two teenage boys, and I know there are some rough days, but some people treat their kids in a way that they would never treat another human being. Those are the people that annoy me. You wouldn't treat your mother, father, boss, pastor, grocer with the lack of respect that some people talk to or act with their kids. I stand by my answer.

uhhhh NO not judging your answer you can stand by it, sit by it, walk next to it whatever floats your boat...especially in this weather. I'm just saying i can certainly understand parents who lose their cool. I don't like disrespectful people I don't care who they are talking to, no one deserves to be treated poorly. ANDI

I'm not sure i can name only one, so i'll put them in order of frustration A) people in a restaurant on a cell phone...HELLO you're just not that important B) talking during a movie.....that just makes me want to slap someone C) a salesperson who makes me feel like they are doing a favor by serving me D) ANYTHING that happens to me during pms week, i'd like to bubble wrap myself that week because really i'm just a big bag of fluster! E) a wait person who keeps asking me if i'm alright because i haven't eaten my whole meal, i order the meal with a to go box at the beginning so i can do portion control! F) taking a day off of work and having my kids home with me, I mean HELLO i can't go to the gym now, I can't run my stupid errands and it's chapping my butt! G) the lines at the good rides at GREAT ADVENTURE, look i can finally fit on the roller coasters that gives me carte blanche to go the front right? ok enough of my whining. ANDI
