Bethany You had your surgery before me-- aren't you eating/trying meats yet- meatballs, chicken. I'm sick of fish. I made scallops the other day- put some pesto sauce on them- they went down easy. Meats for me kind of get stuck in my upper chest- they say just wait 15 minutes and try a smaller piece-- I don't think I could cut it any smaller!!! Have you tried salad or pasta yet- they told me to wait until 4 weeks. For lunch I"ve been having a wasa cracker with turkey and melted cheese on it-- sort of feels like an open sandwich. I need ideas too!!!!

Hi Jackie, Yes I have been eating meats for awhile but they just don't go down good ! And pasta made me sick at 1month so I guess I am scared to try again! I have been doing the crackers and cheese thing but getting sick of that too! I love salad but doc says not really enough protein to eat it everyday. Well if you get any ideas let me know!!! Bethany

I just had homemade macaroni & cheese with Vitaspelt spelt macaroni. Oh my go**** was amazing! I measured out 2 ounces of dry spelt macaroni and could only eat 1 oz of it when it was cooked out. It really was great! The I had fresh steamed summer squash. Man, it was a good dinner!! Jen Halliday
