Good morning NEW YORK!
Hiya Lizzy!!!
I've done my gardens, cleaned the porch and tonight I'll paint it after I come back from setting up my dad's summer house. My son went to a party at a classmate's parent's home over night last night, today he has to go to the lake for a graduation/birthday party and tonight a bonfire at his g/f's house. I'll have him home with me tomorrow!
GO YANKEES!!!!!!

Was going to buy planting stuff, but now brother/sister-in -law are coming over.
Oh well, hopefully later I can go to Home Depot's outdoor store.
GO YANKEES!!! I think they need a
godmother.
Have fun everyone,

Hi guys and gals, all those plans sound great.I hope the weather is pleasant for all.I am a meat manager for a large grocery chain and I'll be working monday as I did on sunday cutting all those nice steaks for all the cook outs going on.I don't eat much anymore but i do get satisfaction seeing a happy face when I hand them a beautiful steak .I hope everyone enjoys the holiday.Bob
Well, the Yankees lost again They are now 12 out from Boston. Not good.
BUT the good news is that after my brother & sister-in-law left, I forced myself to go buy flowers & tomatoes. I'm so proud of myself! I've been so depressed or busy taking care of my sick husband that I haven't planted in at least 2 years, and I LOVE it.
So by the time I got home I was able to get the tomatoes in, & tomorrow I'll do the flowers. I didn't wear gloves, got filthy, and absolutely loved the mud squishing through my fingers.
I love walking up to my house & seeing flowers. And watching the growing process then picking and eating my own tomatoes gives me an amazing sense of accomplishment. They practically grow themselves, but it still makes me feel so good. Maybe I was a farmer in another life.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
