Had my Surgical consult TODAY!!!
I had my surgical consultation with Dr. Caruana today-I was SO IMPRESSED! He was very caring and nice. He called my honey like 10 times and said I was going to breeze through surgery! He said I was an excellent candidate and he knew i was going to do really well. If i had any doubts, there gone. I have everything in order except my primary doc letter which will be done weds. Then they will submit to my insurance company. Im so excited. Im hoping to have surgery by august. He said after insurance approval i would get the next available surgery date. I just wanted to share! Michelle W.

I have to agree with you dr caruanna was really great. It will be a very anxious time for you for the next two weeks or so, untill you get your approval, but just try to be patient and just keep your self preoccupied. let us know as soon as you here something.

I too met with Dr Caruana on the 29th. (11am). They told me they would be calling me sometime within the next 2 weeks for my surgery date. Deanna said probably mid July. Who knows maybe we will get the same date! Have you gone to any support group meetings yet? I want to try and go to the one tomorrow (Fri) at Synergy. Hope you hear from them soon!!
