My consultation appt got moved till....TOMORROW!

Hi all! Due to scheduling conflicts, I was able to get my initial surgical consultation moved till tomorrow.

I am so excited and nervous at the same time.

I already scheduled my appointments with the cardiologist, pulmonologist and endocrinologist! I can't wait to get started and to be sitting with all you losers!!

Lisa, I wish you all the luck tomorrow, this is a very exciting and scary time! Try to be calm and remember all your questions. I was glad I took hubby for mine since I was so nervous and forgot all he said to me.

Debra's right, write down your questions. I even forgot some on the 2nd (PRE-OP) visit, just something trivial like pain meds,

so I wound up having to email him.

Hello Lisa!

I have 2 appointments, one with Dr. Shawn Garber and one with Dr. Gadaleta. My first is tomorrow with Dr. Garber. But I do not think he takes my insurance… Either way I am very excited for you. I agree with the others. Write down all of your questions and make sure you are comfortable with your doctor. This is a very big decision and when making it we must be well informed. In fact I have a book I bought which is dedicated to writing down all of my questions as I think of them. I intend to bring it with me when I go.

Yo Ziggy! Good luck today! Make sure Mom asks the same questions we asked Dr. Garber. At least you know what to expect as far as doctors you need to see pre-op. When Dr. Garber handed me that packet..I had a panic attack! Call me right after the appointment! love, Karen aka Luuuuuuuuuuucy
