San, My surgeon was on Long Island but wanted to say welcome to the board! I wish you all the best! I know there are many great surgeons in NYC, I am sure someone will post! Keep us posted!

Welcome to the board and my dr is also on long island. His name is Dr. Cooperstone and him and his staff are excellent. You can find him on OH he has a web page. Just look up Dr. Lester Cooperstone and he takes HealthNet. Once again welcome and good luck on you WLS journey.

I just wanted to let you know that I called Dr. Cooperstone, and made an appt to see him on June 22,2007 (next Friday). I'm scared and excited at the same time. thank you for the information Sandy
