Ok so I was banded on 7/30..................I went ot the doc today, and I am down 11 lbs!!!!  AYAYAYAYAYYA!!!! I am sooo super excited to have began this journey!  Overall I feel pretty good.  I am eating mushies and trying to get in my protein.  I am sore near my port and only have a small amount of energy but no REAL complaints.   My biggest fustration is not being able to help with my 19 month old daughter.  I am worried beacue the doc said I cat pick her  up  for another 3-4 weeks.....................my hubby goes back to work on friday and I am worried that I wont be able to handle everything.............anyone else have the same situation>>>>>WHAT TO DO?????? Ok and one more question......any good recipes??  I amcurrently eating a piece of fish every night for dinner....which is good.......but what about breakfast and lunch? Thanks for ALL of your support Dana

No advice with the kiddie, but I just wanted to congratulate you on such a great start.  11 lbs. is awesome.

Congrats for doing so great! I am a bandster!  LOVE it!  I have 7 kids  3,4,5,6,10,13,&16  My little ones all climbed up on me...I was sore inthe port area as well.  Just take it in stride.  You do not have to pick her up...just tell her to climb up on the couch or bed...help  as much as she needs but do not over o it. I love cottage cheese with peabut butter.  I love Ricotta cheese with peanut butter lol  I love Almond butter as well with that.  I eat cream of wheat and add some vanilla protein powder to it and it is good.  Soft scrambled eggs work for me too.  Hope that helps!
