Talk about Inspiration! (Intro)

Too True!   My doctor doesn't 'require' me to lose before surgery but would like it if I did lose a little because evidently it helps to not have blood clots during/after surgery and also helps to shrink the liver a little to get it out of the way a bit more.  I didn't realize this until my consult with him.  He definitely doesn't want me to gain.  I have to go in every 4 weeks until surgery to have a weight check.

    WELCOME!      How exciting this must be for you.  You are so right about saying that this board is a source of inspiration. Everyone is always there to reach out and help. I personally was carried through some tough times by all of my OH friends and am so grateful. Who else can possibly understand the enormity of what WLS means?
