Felt like a million bucks
SO this weekend I had my Company Christmas Party at the Crowne Plaza in Times Square. I tried wearing whatever suites I had on the closet on my climb up the mountain to 345 lbs, but even my smallest suite didnt fit. The Smallest suit I had was a 44 inch waist (52 inch was my biggest)
So off to mens wearhouse I went. I fit into a 36 waist. Not sure what the suite size was as I was actually in shock from the waist size. SO I bought the charcoal grey pin stripe suite with shirt (size 16.5 previously size 21.5) and tie to match. Was able to wear a pair of shoes (hand made in Lndon ) that I hadn't been anle to wear for at least 8 yrs but I paid over $250 for them so I refused to throw them out as I only used them once or twice. Last yr I had just goten divorced and didnt make the party as I was in my post divorce blues but LOOK OUT I was there and feeling like a million bucks. I felt like great and looked just as good. It actually took me over an hour to sit down as I made the rounds from table to table saying hello to everyone and the constant flow of compliments from spouses of co- workers I havent seen since my last party 2 yrs ago was amazing. I mingled and was very social which prior to my surgery I would sit at my table and make as little conversation as possible. ANy way i felt like the dude version of the belle of the ball. I danced and had a great time I actually met someone there who actually came with a coworker who had just gotten divorced as well. We hit it off dance for like an hour I got her number and will call her this week to make plans for the coming weekend. Perfect weekend.

Hey Trish I am very out and about with the surgery. The change is so drastic I couldn't realistically try to hide it. Everyone at work has ben extremely supportive and positive every step of the way. I just tell everyone I needed to save my life as my pressure was dangerously high.
Keep your head up and dont let anyone get you down. You got a second chance don't waste it caring about what other people think. I made myself a virtual prisoner in my home because i worried so much about what people thought or what they would say. NEVER AGAIN
And thank you all for your kind words they are very much appreciated
