Has anyone had Dr. Posner in Buffalo for Lap Band surgery. If so any idea as to how long it take to actually be contacted by the nurse for scheduling appt or seminar? Thanks

I sent in my paperwork about 3 weeks ago.  I called and asked what the statis was on my application and was told that I would be receiving a letter in a couple of weeks and had been scheduled for the March 6th seminar.  I know that once you have gone to that and completed the things asked you will then call for a face to face with the doctor.  That takes about 2 months to get that.  From there I am not sure how long it takes to actually get the surgery.  Hope that helps. It is so frustrating. I know they are busy, but when you want to get things moving it shouldn't be so hard.

My friend and i just received the info/ application packets today so it took almost 3 weeks fot that- i guess they are busy but---- I did hear they have another surgeon working their that os suppose to be really good and has lots of experince-  So I have added him to my list to research his name is Dr hoffman-  i am still unsure of who i want to go to -  Let me know what going on with you

I think you and I have chatted on Lap band forum.  I sent in my paperwork a month ago. I called today and was told that I still am not on the list for seminar in March.  It is really frustrating.  At least now you got your info and can move a step ahead!  I feel like I take two steps forward and one step back, with paperwork ect.    I usually have much more patience.
