Tavia....WHere are you?

Hey, Thanks for thinking and wishing me well! I am doing ok. I know my husband wrote a post about my incident. Lord have mercy, was I in bad shape. It was another nightmare. The surgeon said i was retching, shaking and looking like I was going to explode. I dont remember too much b/c I was too busy feeling like I was dying. I barely remember being in the surgeons office monday, barely remember going and being in the ER right after and being admitted to a room...but I do remember everything after being woken up by the surgeon on tuesday morning but wondering "how did I get here?" I thought I was having a bad dream, but alas it was real. Looong story short, I just needed to go poopy reaaaally bad but it wasnt moving. There wasnt anything mechanical wrong just another bad functional problem with me. The surgeon said when he looked at my CT-Scan he said that I would need a "nuclear bomb" to get all of that out. I started taking zelnorm to see if that help move things along. Fiber will actually make my problem worse if I dont take the zelnorm on top of it. The surgeon said today that I have the "most sensitive GI tract". It wasn't that way before! Oh well. The zelnorm is givng me a bit of a tummy ache but hopefully that means its starting to "cook" things. We will see! I hate that hospital and everyone in it...writing that made me feel better. Ha. I am so tired of it all. Take care.

Well I'm glad to see you posting again. I've been trying to call you, hoping that I might catch you. Gosh Tavia, I can't imagine what you must be going through and I'm sure Dr. G is almost as upset as you are. I'm so sorry that this continues to be a problem for you. I'm sending you a big hug and lots of good thoughts. I pray that things get a whole lot better really soon. We all love you!!! Joanne

Geez you hadnt been around I thought maybe you got caught running naked through the hospital like I suggested . I wish that would have been the case cause it might have been much more fun. Im sorry that you keep having such difficulties. I dont know how you keep the faith, but I for one am glad you do. I hope things start looking up for you soon. Take care. Karen

I havn't been on the board since last week-end and Bamb she is back in the hospital again.Poor girl! I don't mean to pitty you Tavia but I do.There is not much I can say ,but feel better and here is a ((((((HUG)))))).I guess I'm going to have to talk to the man upstairs again (LOL just kidding God ) .Try and stay strong and positive.
