Hi Debbie, I stopped at around 177-175 for about 3 weeks between mid Jan and Mid Feb. After that the weight began to move again. I think that our bodies just need a change to acclimate and rest at different rates. You might be at one of those rest periods.. Not to worry, just keep up with your proteins, water, and vitamins and exercise and you'll be moving in not time! We have to realize that we didn't get to our heaviest in a short time period so we shouldn't expect it to get to goal too fast. Take care, and stay happy! Linda M

I guess my body may need time to rest... I just hope it starts moving again!

Hi Debbie, I stall regularly--I find that when I do--I need to go back to basics--It is so easy to get comfortable. I can eat almost anything now (almost six months out) -- So I take out my "Rules of the Pouch" once a month and re-read them. I go back to the model phase four diet--Lots of protein. very few carbohydrates. I try to up my exercise a little(just an extra five minutes a day) I watch my calorie intake (and the kinds of calories--from fat, carbs etc.,) My Surgeon says that people vary--some lose weight for a year some lose up to two years or more. The loss can be from sixty precent of the weight goal to one hundred and ten percent. Don't be discouraged and don't give up! You still have lots of time to lose all your weight (Your whole life) and you have the tool to lose your weight now--so start thinking positive ! You are less than a year out--I assume that you had your surgery 7/22/2005 not 2006--so you still can lose for a year and a half or more. DON'T WORRY! I intend to lose all my excess weight (God willing and me staying on track)and you can too--I am a size 12 now but I would like to be a size 6-8. (I am kind of tall --so the weight doesn't show as much). You CAN do it--you just need to go back to basics--have you been eating bread or crackers or sweets ? Write down EVERYTHING that you eat--you may be eating more than you think(Especially if you tend to graze). YOU are just at a plateau! Get back to basics --anD I bet you'll drop four or five pounds in a week! Be Blessed, Marian S.C. 242.4/173/goal 125-130???

Debbie, I agree with everyone, our bodies need time to readjust and start to lose again so keep doing the right things and it should restart again for you. I know since you started at a lower rate it does take longer to lose. I see that as I get lower that is it harder to lose. I wish you all the best hun ~hugs~ Debra P
