depends on your doctor.....my advice to you is to consult with serveral doctors. only you will know which doctor is right for you. i went to one doctor who was pushing me to have a wls procedure that is now considered outdated. i ended up finding a great doctor who i love to death !!!!! just be aware there are a lot of pre op things you have to do, i.e. psch evaulation and pre op testing. some doctors require that you drop 10% of your body weight before they will do surgery. keep us posted. good luck on your journey. donna open rny mar 18 2003 282/142/140
