Tavia, Please keep us posted ont he second opinion, in your situation a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd is a great idea. As for the soda, I've been missing it quiet terribly lately, I stopped drinking it a month before surgery but the other day I could literaly taste it, but I'm so scared of getting sick. Thanks for your story (even though painful for you) it will keep me away from it for some time. Thanks Pat

Hi, Tavia. I'm a lurker on the board, but I post every once in a while. This lady at my church (who is a little older, set in her ways, opinionated, but very lovable!) calls soda, (ready for this?) "Satan's Urine" I thought I'd share that. I had been weaning myself off soda for the last couple years and finally gave it up completely in January. Don't miss it, for the most part. Jen, Wow satans urine is a pretty good one. I never heard that one before! That is too funny. My mom drinks cream soda w/milk mixed together all the time. I dont know, I never really liked that too much. I dont think I will start liking it now either, probably way too sweet for my buds. Thanks for the luck! I need it.

Tavia, THANKYOU FOR SHARING, about the white poop! I can tolerate soda, but I have learned to keep away from it. Its not good for us, & I got used to having noncarbination, just like I got used to not eating & drinking! Something I never thought I could do. Best of luck with the new opinions.
