Did anyone attend the new support group meeting at Huntington Hospital this morning? Did you enjoy it ? How was the group leader? How many people were there? Post-ops vs pre-ops? what types of surgery did the post-ops have? Would you recommend it to others? Thanks, Lisa

Hi - I met the group leader several weeks ago- they are copying the style of meeting we have going at Good Sam hospital- which is very successful. We just had a Spring Fashion show and all the models are post op patients and it was sponsored by Dress Barn and Renata's Bridal Fashions. It was a huge success. So if you are interested- you are welcome to attend our biweekly meetings at Good Sam- they are saturday mornings 9-10:30 and this month the meetings are 4/8 and 44/22. if you are interested or need directions- let me know. Its for everyone- preop- postop RNY & Lap its mostly post RNYs, and it doesn't matter who your surgeon is. Donna 325/231/145
