Hi- I think its a Medicare issue. I read on one of the Chapter Boards- these are the local chapter leaders- and one guy was saying that Medicare is getting ready to remove certain verbage from their contracts that will positively influence Washington- that obesity is a disease and that this surgery is necessary- because of the post benefits to the patients. he was asking everyone to write in to Congress, in support of the bill- because it will trickle down and affect all the other private insurance carriers out there.. so hang in there- don't give up- you have no idea how close you may be to approval.
