very sad...........upper GI problem

Hello Guys Sorry I have'nt been on the board in a few days every since I first came aboard well I went on my GI appt. and I found out I have an ulcer so I'm on meds for 8 weeks and everything else is fine except for the supervise diet which ends next month onthe 31st and then all my paper work would have been sent in and then I would have a date, all my insurance wanted was a 6 month supervise diet and then I would have a date now I have to wait and I'm feeling sad right about now. I need a pick me up. somebody tell me something good. Cynthia

Cynthia, Try to look at the brite side , they fond it now and it will be correted they didnt find it in the middle of surgery and have to stop. I know your sad but the 8 weeks will go fast keep your chin up. were all here for you Michele

Hi Cynthia, Try to relax and think of it this way--you wouldn't want to have that ulcer and the surgery--good thing it was discovered now--and you can take care of it--You have the rest of your life to enjoy the benefits of the surgery--BUT you want it to be without complications --so that you will be healthy and fit ( besides that worry will only exaserbate that ulcer) So take it easy--we will pray for you and soon you will be on the losers' side Have a blessed Holiday!
