Hi wanted to introduce myself

Just had my first consult and am starting my long journey on the adventure to changing me. I have my surgery date scheduled for August , and i Am working on the different appointments I have to attend . As excited as I am to be begining this journey I am also nervous , I am sure there is someone else out there who has been in this spot. Anyone wanna buddy up.

Hi Suzanne, welcome and good luck to you. I was nervous too, I started the process once and then stopped, my older daughter talked me out of it and I got scared. She thought I was going to die, so I stopped the process and then started three months later and now I am down 132 pounds in 11 months. It is the best thing I did, I am sharing clothes with my 16 year old. My husband also had the surgery four weeks ago and is down 36 pounds already. I wish you the best and welcome to the losing side! Suzanne, Hello hun and welcome.. ~hugs~ I am the same as Geniene, I started this and then the day before my first consult I chickened out.....rescheduled for 2 months later and then it was a go. I needed to get myself ready for some of the changes and even then there are so many along the way that it is hard to prepair. I wish I would have done it earlier I way but then again maybe I was not ready, ya know... Congrats on moving forward hun and you will do awesome. This ride is fill of excited and scared feelings so it is normal to be feeling like that. We are always here for you when you need us......this is an awesome AMOS family here. Debra P

Hi Suzanne, Welcome, Im 11 days post-op and I was nervous too but I kept pushing on and looking forward to a new healther me. I got thru the surgeryW/ no complications so far Thank god . Just make sure you have faith in your surgen thats most important. take care Michele
