Dear Lisa, Dakoda James is a poweful angel in heaven now watching over you and your family. I work for the Dept of Education and while in my charge 2 little angels have been murder by their parents. One got 25 years but will do 7 years...the other thats still pending. All I know is that God is all powerful and seeks justice.....just sit back and watch God army do its job....prison does not take too kindly to baby killers.....my prayers are with you... Susan

Lisa - DaKoda James, DAKODA JAMES. My heart cries out to you. This man is no more than a blot of anger and hate. These are some places to put your anger into action. Begin by working on You! You can share and document Dakoda's life. You can take the power away from this man by making sure Dakoda is remembered in a hundred ways people and see and hear. Tie ribbons with his name on them in the branches of trees. You know those bell people put on toddlers' shoes. Tie them on the ribbons. Let people hear the footsteps of Dakoda. When people ask why, tell them of Dakota. Learn what to tell them so they know what they can do to help stop domestic violence. I will hang belled ribbons, with Dakoda's name on them in my neighborhood. I will do my best to answer questions. If I hear yelling or hitting from a house or apartment near me, I will call the police. I will tell neighbors. I will give shelter. Ask others to do the same. If experienced and wise as even young grandmothers are feel something is 'off' with a man. They must speak up, not to the man, but to the rest of the family. Contact victims and survivors groups and take an active part!. Go to the city, not with anger that will close their ears but, with questions about what you can do to see that this man serves every day of his sentence. Keep track of where he is in the prison system. You can represent Dakoda at parole hearings. Learn what you can about court systems so that child killing ranks with killing a police officer as far as punishment goes. A child is defenseless and a policeman is a defender. Stopping all forms of Domestic violence is the the job of the community as well as a DA. By community, I mean your family, neighbors, co-workers, whoever. Join with others, get others to join with you. Let it begin with you. Remember DAKODA without the edge of hatred and violence that cut his life and so wounded yours. Our boys must be taught, young, to protect and care. Touch another life. Join with others, get others to join with you. Use your strength to save another DAKODA. I urge you to turn your anger to action to save a life and make something good for DAKODA that will last. My most sincere sympathy, Sue K - Schenectady, NY

I am so sorry Lisa... That's on my list of one of the reasons why I hate NY. Around here, they tend to be too liberal on murderers. It's sick. Kristine
