Psst..Ahha Diarrhea???

Hi Gang, As you all know I am now 7 days post op....GO ME However, well...come closer ....I have diarrhea...after lunch and dinner maybe an hour goes by and I have to use the potty...big time.... Is this normal...diarrhea...HELP..... I am drinking about 75-80 ounces of water to compensate.... Ok...dont let this bit of news leak out....shhhhh....embarrassed Hugs Susan...

SUSAN: liquid in=liquid out! Normal for most potops for a while,it actually switche soon enoght to constipation so, err well enjoy this? Giggles. gettingin fluid is most important to prevent dehdration 8 cups at least a day! Jamie

Was very normal for me that early out and as the other post said GOING in liquid comeing out liquid. It passed as i moved up the food rungs GOOD LUCK susan and welcome to the looseing side

As the others said, liquid in = liquid out. Also, if they gave you any antibiotics, they can cause diarrhea also. Just make sure you get your water in. Diarrhea can cause dehydration and low potassium. Keep the water going in and you'll be fine. Things will change soon enough. Your body is still trying to figure out what the heck is going on. You've been through major surgery and it's in shock. Joanne
