I'm in a bad place!

Remember not to long ago I recommended you journal the reasons for our wls journey? get that out, read it! I beleive you can find alternative ways to self soothe, you have come too far to go back there (Morbid Obesity)...
It is challenging but I know you can meet the challenges life will have ocassionally! thi i about progress NOT perfection, so falling on an old familiar way to cope is not the end of the journey it is an opportuity to con't to grow and learn about yourself! What does this opportunity show you for the future? Need more coping skills to manage tough emotions? I know it isnot easy dealing w/ emoions but one thing I feel is they pass, sometimes learnign to just be inthe moment, sad/angry/frustrated/hurt/alone/afraid is OKAY learning that it willnot last forever, that we can feel anything and it will lessen vs intensify over time, that we can handle it w/o food, alcohol, pills, etc to numb it....afterall those ways usually come back to make us feel worse eventually. I appreciate the difficuties we all deal with at times, I dont profes to know how u feel, but I do know it is possible to change and do things different! We can't control the world only our respinse to it!
Be well, get on that yamaha or back to the gym, see how wonderful ife can be in the midst of difficulty! HUGS!

I am with you, I too eat the wrong foods at times but there are two things you can do.
1. Do not kill yourself over it, tomorrow is a new day. MOVE ON and think positively for a better day.
2. EXERCISE, it will make you feel better, especially after eating the wrong choices. It will also help you with CRAVINGS.
Just a suggestion, this is what I try to do!

Kenny i am sorry you are feeling so bad. So you see a therapist or do you have someone to talk to? Remember all the issues that got us fat in the first place are still there when we have the surgery. We need to work on our psycological states as well. Hang in there, you are doing so good, when you feel like eating jump on that new bike you got and just ride ride ride!
Oh and how about those Rangers!!!! I was so upset last night almost screwed up , decided to go for a walk and stopped in the supermarket and picked up some strawberries and sugar free cool whip. I think that saved me.

Hi there,
I'm right there with ya Kenny!
It was hubby's birthday Saturday and though I didn't do too bad and no damage, I was still eating for the wrong reasons. Went to Friendly's in the Newburgh Mall. I ordered a child's portion of hamburger and fries and the child Sundae. I was feeding the stress. It wasn't such a happy birthday for the hubby either.
I'm seriously thinking of giving the therapist a call again.
