Psych. consult on long island........

I'm hoping someone can help me out......I have appointments for all my pre-testing except for the Psych. consult. So far, none of the psychiatrists have called me back. Only one clinical social worker called me (my doctor's office said it has to be a doctor, not a CSW). But she did tell me that most doctors don't want to do these because there is alot of paperwork(????). Does anyone on Long Island have a good experience with a psychiatrist and can tell me who they used? Hopefully, they will take my health insurance. I am getting desparate here..... Thanks in advance for any help.....
