Still waiting?........update......

Hello friends! Its been awhile, but I've been trying to focus a bit more on my kids. Since I started this journed, I've seemed to loose focus on my priorities, my kids. I am still waiting to hear from my insurance, since 1/13, whether or not I've been approved. I'm now told 5/9 they will have an answer, being it is now in pending status. They are really to keep me waiting so long without a "yes" or "no" answer, but I don't want to make them either. I was supposed to have my surgery today, but it was postponed 'til 5/22. My local is holding this up. I just hope it doesn't have to bee rescheduled a third time. I know alot of you have been through this, too, and the outcome can go both ways, but PLEASE say your prayers that the waiting and anxiety and stress will be over for me soon and that I will be able to meet with you on the "losing" side soon. Lisa i am sorry they are making you wait this long, it is not right! But keep your chin up and you will be in my thoughts and prayers for a positive outcome. Just enjoy your kids while waiting! LisaMarie

Sorry you have to go through this. It's very unfair. I don't understand why your local has anything to say about insurance approval. I think you've been more than patient. They are screwing with your life and I would have gotten an attorney by now. Stop being so nice and above all don't be afraid of them. Get a lawyer and sue the #*%!@'s. Just my two cents worth. Lisa, I am sorry that your surgery was postponed ! I know how it feel's as I was one of the many you were talking about that has been through it ! I however was not just waiting on the ins. but had other issues , but just the same it wrecks havoc on our emotional well being ! You will soon be here setting next to me on the loser's bench and you be able to look back at this and say " I did it and nothing got in my way b/c I was strong and kept with it to succeed !" Hey, if your surgery is on 5/22 it will be here before you know it ! I am keeping you in my thought's and prayer's , hun . Keep us posted ! and , Carolee

Hi Lisa, Usually Dr. Garber's staff deals with the insurance companies and they have been quite successful. What do they say about the delay??? I agree with Joanne...threaten a lawsuit for the delay, that is just unethical to create such stress. just my two cents Linda M
