Has anyone every tried the Revival brand? They look reasonably priced and come in a variety of flavors. You also get a bunch of freebies for buying a 30 shake supply. http://www.revivalsoy.com/products/shakes/index.html?-session=revivalsoy:A0FE14FD0c67613D5 BjVu351A63D

I never tried SOY (BV 71-74)protein powder, always found/researched WHEY to be a superior protein (BV 100-159), and tastey & does not contain isoflavones or any other components with potential hormonal effects like soy does. I do use soy slender soymilk in my decaf teas, they have plain, vanilla, chocolate, and cappuccino all have only 60-70 cal/cup & only 0-1 g carbs (vs. regular soy having 10-14g cup!) http://www.westsoy.biz/products/slender.php $2/ea give or take where you buy! (Walmart is like $1.68). I am not sure I 'd say these (Revival) were reasonably priced?, 30 days is $45.95 + $7.95 S&H, 1 packet 130 cal, 20 g protein, 2.5g fat, 7 grams carbs (that is a little high for me), and Some of us do 3 shakes a day that can be costly...Then again if one can't tolerate whey soy is probably next best option (or egg protein). I find Champion Pure Whey stack 5# tub ~ $25 + S&H 4.95 at www.netrition.com a real reasonably priced powder/tasty as well, that is 77 servings, that is 1/4 the price. 120 cal scoop 3g carbs, 23 g protein, 3 g fat. I also LOVE my PVL whey gourmet 2# is $21.99 +S&H I get at www.a1nutrition.com that is 30 scoops and it so thick and creamy! 15 flavors! www.bethsproteinboutique.com carries samples as well. As for Individuals with lactose intolerance should select a pure whey protein isolate, which has less than 0.1 gram of lactose per tablespoon (20 grams). This is less lactose than the amount found in a cup of yogurt and research has shown that most people with lactose intolerance have no trouble taking this very small amount of lactose. Individuals with lactose intolerance should avoid whey protein concentrates as they usually contain lactose and the amount can vary greatly from product to product. http://www.wheyoflife.org/faq.cfm#12 But whateer we chose I am glad we have choices! My doctor recommends soy protein right after surgery. He says he finds his patients tolerate it much easier than whey and I want to do what he recommends. This stuff is kind of pricey but they do have a 30 day money back guarantee and the reviews on OH in the link above are pretty good. I think I am going to try ordering a box of chocolate and a variety pack. That way I get my free stuff. I might start supplementing lunch with these shakes now to see how it goes. I am afraid of protein drinks because I have a terrible gag reflex (my own dentist won't even work on my teeth for more than a cleaning or filling anymore) and I don't want anything to make me sick after surgery. Thanks for the input though.
