Hi!

I'm also almost 2 weeks out, too.  I started with soft foods on Sunday - starting with 3 teaspoons of tuna, which went down well.  I used to love cottage cheese, but now it takes like nothing I've ever tasted - and not in a good way! LOL

This morning I tried scrambled eggs (again, 3 tsp) and that was great!  I had chicken salad at noontime today - also a winner.  I'm not sure what I'll try tonight.

I'm down 19 lbs and cannot believe it!

Wishing you well,
Rhonda

Topic: 5 FOODS FOR WEIGHT LOSS

1. MILK: Milk contains calcium and complex carbohydrates which can boost metabolism. This will keep insulin levels low, which prevents your body from thinking it needs to store fat.

2. GRAINS: Whole grains also help with weight loss. The fiber helps to boost metabolism and help you burn more calories. They also make you feel more full so you snack less often and they help to keep insulin levels low.

i feel pretty good....my left side is still a little sore but besides that i feel better every day.  i do find days when i walk around to much that i am tired the next day...just have to remember not to pu****its so hard not to be able to pick up my daughter, i miss holding her and cuddling, my wife will put her down with me, but if she starts kicking or what not then there is an issue..
as for my diet, i have been getting between 80-100 grams of protein in alomst every day....my trick is to just take crystal light with a scoop of unflavored protein and that helps both water and protein intake at the same time
i am starting purees this week, any good suggestions?
