Hang in there sweetie:) and it's great you have support! My daughter lives in Middletown:) well works there and lives in Otisville..took me 5 yrs of reading and maybes' but when i seen scale hit over 350 it was time! Now my next phase is getting my belly done this Wed..its The best Journey you will ever have is weight loss surgery...my regret is I didnt have it done ealier! Good Luck:)

Orange County here also.....took me two years of researching hospitals, procedures and finally February 2010 I decided it was time to do this.  Had to go through 6 months of nutritional, pshyclogical and health evaluations then on October 1, 2010 I had my surgery.  The first week was very difficult for me, did not feel well at all but now after almost a month I don't know why I waited so long. 

I am off to B & N to look for that Dummies book also. 

I also will attend nutritional monthly and my psyhcologist weekly for quite a while for sure.  Get my first fill November 16, so working hard on my program until then.

I am sure you will do fine - I guess any surgery is never easy but try & think of all the positives of the aftermath and hopefully that will help you through any rough times! - By the way who is doing your panni? Dr. Fitzer's group or another? Just wondering as I may be getting one myself down the road.  Thanks  Mary

Hardly recognizable! I recall you had surgery maybe a little before me or around the same time....
