surgery in 1 1/2 weeks

Hello, I am looking for recipies and/or ideas for the first stages of eating after bypass so I don't get bored witht he same old stuff. Also any advice or warnings would be helpful. Just looking fro friends who would like to keep in contacy.:-p

Best of luck on your surgery. I have some recipes if you want me to mail you copies. You can send me your address in an e-mail if you would like. They are neat. Most of them call for the unflavored whey protein (which I think even Walmart has). Some of them call for other flavors, but that is what gives it the higher protein amount. My surgery is in 20 days.

Hi Tammy, Im having my surgery on the 30th. Was supposed to be the 24th but it got moved. I have a few recipes that are in my book from the Hospital. Some sound pretty good. Id be glad to send you some. .just e-mail me and let me know!!! Lots of luck! Shannon

Hi Tammy, First , Good Luck with your surgery. Second, if you look in the cooking and baking forum and the recipe forum you will find a lot of recipes for protein shakes and smoothies and stuff. You might have to go back a few pages but they are there. Good Luck, Peggy
